Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy is an integral part of Shvana’s Terms of Service Agreement. By using Shvana’s services, both the pet owner and the pet care provider agree to be bound by this policy. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are not provided and details the alternative settlement options available.

2. No Monetary Refunds

Shvana maintains a strict no monetary refunds policy. Once payment has been made for any service, it is considered final and non-refundable. This applies regardless of:

  • Cancellation or termination of services by the pet owner or Shvana.
  • Cancellation or termination of rendering the services by the Pet Care Provider’s which includes (Kennel Experts, Groomers, Boarding, Trainers / Behaviourists, Veterinarians, Pet Essentials Provider, Pet Pharmacies, Devoted Female Dog Owners, Special Care Needs Provider, Insurance Provider and Pet Transport Provider) or Shvana.
  • Disruptions or interruptions in service for any reason.
  • Dissatisfaction with the services provided.
  • Any other circumstances not explicitly covered by this policy.

3. Alternative Settlement Options

In place of monetary refunds, Shvana offers the following alternative settlement options exclusively to the Pet Owner to ensure customer satisfaction:

  • Additional Profile Provision: Shvana will provide the pet owner with an additional profile of a different pet care service provider at no extra cost. This allows the pet owner to select another service provider for the required service.
  • Service Reassignment: Shvana may offer to reassign the service to a different provider within the Shvana network, ensuring the service meets the pet owner’s expectations.
  • Service Credit: Shvana may offer service credits that can be used towards future services within a specified period.

4. Conditions for Alternative Settlement

The alternative settlement options are subject to the following conditions:

  • One-Time Offer: The alternative settlement options are provided as a one-time, full, and final settlement.
  • No Further Claims: Once an alternative settlement option is chosen and provided, no further claims or requests for refunds or additional compensation will be entertained.
  • Verification: The pet owner must provide necessary information to verify the service issue before an alternative settlement is offered.

5. Binding Agreement

This refund policy, along with the alternative settlement options, is binding on both the pet care provider and the pet owner. By using Shvana’s services, both parties acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms of this policy and the accompanying Terms of Service Agreement.

6. No Exceptions

There will be no exceptions to this refund policy. All requests for monetary refunds will be denied, and the only recourse available to pet owners will be through the alternative settlement options provided.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This refund policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Any disputes arising from this policy or its interpretation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

8. Amendment of Policy

Shvana reserves the right to amend or modify this refund policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Shvana website. Continued use of Shvana’s services after any amendments or modifications constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
